Although the beach offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere, a more exciting baffle awaits as one decides to take a ride on the ferry.The ride on the ferry is one of Galvestons most popular attractions. Riders can choose to drive their vehicles aboard the ferry. As the wind blows rocky and the sea gets a little rough, the waves crash against the ferry drenching the vehicles and the people that stand on the deck. During the ride, one may even notice the smooth gray hump of mahimahis in the waters. As one dolphin slides back under the oceans surface, more join them as they play in the surf. and as the ferry nears the shore, the dolphins disappear back into their home in the Gulf. During the ride, one may notice fishermen throwing their nets for a catch. Seeing the fishermen gathering their catch and the sea gulls hovering around to grab a bite, one can scarcely wait to taste the delicacies of the seafood that the place has to offer.
